Letter From the Co-Chief
Co-Chief Lee Martsching
I have been on a long journey to have finally ended up with my people of the Apalachee tribe. For years, my tribe was lost to me until I decided that I needed to know where I belonged. With many obstacles to overcome, I did my own research and found my lineage. Still being raised with many Native American practices and beliefs, I still couldn’t rightfully claim my heritage not knowing which tribe was home. Now, it is with the highest honor that I have been elected Co-Chief for the Apalachee people. I will take this opportunity to serve the tribe to the best of my capabilities. I will work closely with our council and most importantly our chief in order to achieve the objectives set forth by the Apalachee. I will make my family proud, I will make my tribe proud, and I will make my ancestors proud.
