Tribal Enrollment

There are many elements in regard to gaining tribal enrollment of the Apalachee Indians of the Talimali Band. We as a tribe DO NOT except DNA tests from any entity and we are not a blood quantum requirement tribe.

Qualifying for a tribal enrollment for the Apalachee Indians of the Talimali Band requires the person of interest to provide documentation of family lineage dating as far back as possible. To get started, download the ancestry chart below to fill out and include with your documents.

Required documents of the direct lineage in question should include:

  • Birth Certificates
  • Death Certificates
  • Marriage Licenses
  • Baptism Records
  • Christening Records
  • U.S. Census Records

These documents, plus a non-refundable certification fee to our

3rd-party genealogist is required to be mailed into our Secretary at:

Your documents will then be sent to our certified genealogist that works very closely with our tribe. ALL results will be communicated to the person in question of enrollment through provided contact information. Once certification has been acquired, you must make an appointment with the tribal secretary to obtain a copy of your certification letter.
